The library contains many items and sets of equipment for science and technology activities that are used occasionally by schools, and are often too expensive for schools to fund and only use perhaps once a year.
The items include KNex, anemometers, electrical circuit boards, skeletons, Stikka machines, egg hatching units, 20 Intel microscopes, and the Fun Maths Roadshow. Many teachers find it useful to hire equipment in subject groups.
These items are available for hire from INTECH Outreach Department.
Training is now offered on many items.
All prices quoted are for two week loans (unless specified) ex VAT Minimum charge of £10
Special one day loans or extended periods can be arranged.
