The Science Centre is open every day from 10:00am - 4:00pm.

A 'Group' is a minimum of 10 persons.

Group rates: child £4; adult £6. Planetarium show +£2 per person. See Adult Group page for details of special offer. Special needs groups have carers admitted free to Science Centre (Planetarium £2)

We welcome all visitors and try to make all areas as accessible as possible.  Please let us know in advance if your group includes anyone with special needs as we are happy to discuss particular requirements to make your visit a rewarding experience. There is a lift between the two floors.

We can organise subsidised coach travel to and from the centre which complies with the safety regulations.  Costs depend on the distance from the centre.

There is a cafeteria seating 100, plus additional outside terrace seating and picnic area.

We have a shop with a range of fun gifts/toys, science gifts and books.
