In this section you will be able to find out all the information you need to bring the STEM subjects to life in your school.

 

At INTECH we aim to ensure that all young people have easy access to a wide range of high quality STEM curriculum enhancement and enrichment activities and schemes.

 

In order to achieve this we are here to provide information and guidance on any STEM activities which you wish to undertake. We can provide an environment here at INTECH where students are engaged with the planetarium as well as helping you become involved in both local and national activities.

 

In addition to this we can help you to promote STEM subjects and careers though STEM Ambassadors scheme. They are volunteers from industry or STEM related careers who would like to work with schools and pupils.

 

INTECH is the STEMPOINT contract holder for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, and  

• can offer advice and guidance to teachers on which schemes may be suitable for them

• can provide details of, or facilitate contact with, the person or organisation best suited to meeting teachers’ specific needs

• may be able to provide further support through access to  STEM Ambassadors.
