Planetarium tour
Take a virtual tour of the Astrium Planetarium at INTECH Science Centre! See the design of the theatre and how the projected images cover the whole 17m dome above the audience's heads. Click and drag to change the viewpoint, or use the control buttons in each window to zoom in/out (hold your cursor over the controls to find out what they do).
Important note: The real planetarium looks better! The resolution and colours have been reduced in these representations to make them quicker to load. The real planetarium has more pixels across its width than HDTV and gives a breathtakingly realistic view.

Tour One: scene from a live show
Showing the Earth and the Milky Way. The colours show how the scene appears to telescopes that collect light invisible to the human eye.
Tour Two: scene from Black Holes (film show)
The Swift satellite looks out for supernovae - huge exploding stars that may form black holes.
