STEM Ambassadors
Do you work in the field of science, technology, engineering or maths? If so please consider becoming a STEM Ambassador.
Science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) Ambassadors have the unique opportunity to inspire children and young people in the STEM subjects. By becoming a STEM Ambassador you would be able to fullfil a vital role by sharing your passion for the subject by undertaking to visit a school once a year (or more if you have the time.)
STEM Ambassadors come from a number of backgrounds, if you have experience working in a STEM related job then you too can help inspire the next generation.
Until recently STEM Ambassadors were known as SEAs but to reflect the inclusion of mathematics in the STEM disciplines the name has been changed.

Benefits of being a STEM Ambassador
The benefits ofan ambassador are not one way and through this scheme you will be able to gain a fresh perspective on your day-to-day work through the eyes of the students. You will be able to make a difference in your local community. It will also enable you to develop your communication, planning and presentation skills. It can also be great fun!
